Jinia Williams

Jinia has an empathic and genuine ability to connect, which allows her to work effectively with her clients. She also incorporates clients’ spiritual beliefs into the treatment protocol to holistically address their needs. The use of these evidence-based approaches allows her to effectively address the emotional and behavioral issues of clients from diverse backgrounds. Jinia is fluent in Haitian Creole and has developed multicultural sensitivity.

Jinia is a board member for Rebati Santé Mentale - whose overall goal is to promote the mental health of Haitians in Haiti and the Diaspora. Jinia serves on NAMI Miami-Dade County’s Black Communities Initiative Advisory Board. Jinia is also a board member of Beautiful Beauties of Tomorrow and Little Miss Proverbs 31 Girl Mentorship Programs.

Jinia holds the following memberships: the American Psychological Association, the Florida Counseling Association, the Association of Black Psychologists, South Florida Chapter, and the National Association of Christian Counselors. Jinia faithfully serves as church board secretary at the Deliverance Tabernacle Church of the Nazarene. Jinia also serves as the Program Director for the Mental Health Strengthening Families Program at Sant La Haitian Neighborhood Center.
